The Saint John Amateur Speed Skating Club is excited to once again welcome all skaters to the Charles Gorman Meet on January 20th and 21st at TD Station<\/a> in Saint John, NB. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

REGISTRATION CLOSES JANUARY 10th AT 10:00PM. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MEET FORMAT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be an SSC sanctioned event that will adhere to the standards established by SSC with respect to the skating track, officiating, safety features, and other aspects involved in the event. This competition will be conducted according to the rules and regulations as defined by SSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meet is open to all eligible skaters and will feature ability-based racing (i.e. mixed ages depending on speed) on the 85m, 100m and 111m tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The racing will take place on the NHL sized ice surface at the TD Station Arena located at 99 Station Street in Saint John<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SJASSC has partnered with the Hilton Saint John<\/a>  to offer a group  rate of $139 per night for a standard room with two queen beds. The indoor pedway lets you walk to TD station without going outside!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
