Please register your skater(s) here to attend the FUNdamentals meet as this event is open to other clubs and spaces are limited to 60 skaters. A reminder that the FUNdamentals meet is during our regular ice time on Saturday December 14th and there will be no regular lessons on that day.

The Saint John Amateur Speed Skating Club will be hosting our FUNdamentals meet on Saturday December 14th at the Charles Gorman Arena, 80 University Ave, Saint John.
This is a fun meet for entry level speed skaters. It will include short races and fun races such as silly starts and start from your knees.
If your child is new to skating, this is a great way to introduce them (and you) to competition!
Racing starts at 8:30am and finishes at 12:30. Please arrive by 8:00.
This meet is limited to skaters who fall within these ability limits:
-Upper limit: 54 seconds or slower on a 400m race.
-Lower limit: able to skate 2 laps reasonably well.
The cost for this event is as follows:
-SJASSC members $10 per skater.
-Other Clubs $20 for your first skater and $10 for each additional skater in your family.

-Please include your skater’s name on the memo line and use SJASSC as the password.

Parents/Guardians are expected to be in the arena and be responsible for the behaviour of their children while they are attending any events. Skaters and Parents are expected to treat coaches, officials, volunteers and other skaters with respect, both on and off the ice.
